I noticed this morning that the 'twinkle' is back in the Atlantic's eye, i.e., the 'glint' is evident. At 12Z it is seen at about 11-11.5N (to the east of TD2). So sun angles must be involved, but I have no idea as to why it wasn't observable earlier in the NH Summer when the sun would have been directly over the Equator. Cheers, ED |
