Based on the current satellite view Ike is trying to take on a "saw blade" appearance.
I don't know if he will succeed but the "saw blade" storms are usually very bad.

I've spent many weeks on Galveston Island and I would hate to think of what a wall of water would do to Galveston or any other place for that matter.

If you are within a mile of any water along the Texas Coastline. Please leave and seek higher ground and safety now before it's too late. We don't want or need another New Orleans type catastrophe.
