Me, too. I would hate to see NO and neighboring areas get hit hard again. From all I have read, not enough has been done to upgrade the levies and protect the low lyings areas in LA, MI, and AL. <sigh> Not that I don't empathize with my FL neighbors -- I live in Martin County, FL and was w/o power for 2 days (which I hate bc it means no access to info on storm data), but I have never had any success w/FEMA assistance, and I do not believe the government has done enough to protect the Gulf states from another disaster, especially since so many of the residents are still suffering. Not to mention the trailers scandal. Sorry to get off topic, but I rely on this site to give me informative, real input when I have weather concerns. Not just from all you experts, but the site links. Thank you SO much.
