An overview of tonight's 0z runs of the hurricane models which have ingested much more high quality recon data.
The hurricane models are not shying away from advertising a Major to high-end Major into landfall.
The following images are all of the final snapshot just prior to landfall. In theory, Helene could be briefly weakening, briefly strengthening even more, or staying steady-state, right at landfall from here. However, any brief weakening would be potentially catastrophic, regardless.
