Re: Helene Lounge

The center of the 5 PM ET forecast track is on St. George Island just east of Apalachicola tomorrow evening as a Cat 4 (potentially Cat 5) causing catastrophic damage similar to Mexico Beach with Hurricane Michael, 2018. With the huge wind field, the entire Florida peninsula will experience tropical storm force winds of at least 39 mph at some point tomorrow. Helene is going to be a large, destructive storm with storm surge and wind damage along the entirety of the west coast, but the Big Bend will bear the brunt. If you’re not hunkered down or evacuated, time is running out.
