Most likely it'll be a rainy weekend along the northern Gulf, hybrid or potential tropical storm. Hurricane is extremely unlikely but not impossible. I wouldn't expect much from this though. The overall Atlantic effect this year is still suppressed by El Nino, so weak once again is by far the most likely scenario. General message is, keep watch, but unlikely to be much.
