Re: C'mon! Lets hear those landfall predictions!

At 3:45 AM CDT I am still seeing Wilma's direction maintaining at 260-270 range. Also seeing strong northeasterly upper level wind flow along with a lifting of the ridge to the west and northwest of Wilma , and the same ridge to the northeast sagging slightly southeast. The influence to the west to drive a north to northeast turn is still a day away. So, my prediction right now is for a 270-280 direction, maintaining same speed for 8-12 hours putting initial landfall on and across the central Yucatan peninsula, and emerging, weakened, into the Gulf of Mexico with a motion due north. After that depends upon the timing of the ridge moving in from the West. You saw it here first.
