SUPER Typhoon Dianmu

Just a quick update - Dianmu is currently packing 155kt winds with gusts around 190kt It is expected to peak at this strength, and is expected to maintain it for about another 12 hours. This ties Dianmu with Super Typhoon Faxai in December 2001.

It still looks very impressive. It is huge and has a symmetrical 16 mile wide eye, which is tiny by comparison. If the storm maintains this organisation, the winds may take longer to slow down than is currently being forecast.
