Re: Man-yi now officially a Super Typhoon. Now approaching Okinawa

Kadena Airbase, Okinawa, Japan, reported 25.50 inches of rain in the 24 hour period between 12/0800 (EDT) and 13/0800 (EDT). I don't know what the peak winds were (probably well over 100mph), but the weather equipment did not fail.
