Area of Interest - Central Caribbean Sea

Active tropical wave south of the Dominican Republic near 14.5N 70.5W at 26/12Z. This system faces some modest shear in the next 24 hours, however in a couple of days slow intensification is possible as the system moves to the west northwest toward Jamaica.
