Re: My Pre-2007 Hurricane Season Report

Enjoyed the synopsis of last season and predictions for this season. You did a nice job summarizing what went wrong with last season's forcast and doing it in layman's terms. One thing I had not heard was that El Nino was in place and didn't fade out to La Nina. I had thought that the El Nino event DEVELOPED late in the summer to snuff out the season. Believe me, although I enjoy tracking storms and the excitement that goes with it, we on the West Coast of Fla were grateful for the break. Looks like I need to fire up my generator and make sure it is working!!! I am getting a feeling that Fla may get swiped by a TS pretty early this season, like early July. We need the rain, but not the rest of it!!
