Re: Preparations, Closings and Conditions in Your Area

Typical Calm Night in Fort Myers. Light Rain with a few scattered showers earlier and a rumble of thunder here or there. The Barometric Pressure is finally rising for some reason?

Some stats:

Updated: 11:49 PM EDT on August 17, 2008
79.7 °F / 26.5 °C
Humidity: 82%
Dew Point: 74 °F / 23 °C
Wind: Calm
Wind Gust: 3.4 mph / 5.5 km/h
Pressure: 29.75 in / 1007.3 (Rising)
Heat Index: 84 °F / 29 °C
Visibility: 10.0 miles / 16.1 kilometers
Clouds:
Clear -
(Above Ground Level)
Elevation: 14 ft / 4 m

So why would it suddenly drop and then rise? Anyone have any clue?
