To whom it concerns, my interpretation from earlier this afternoon when thunderstorms were firing across Ft. Myers area were that they were not "feeder bands" into TS Fay. My interpretation of the term "feeder bands" also has to do with proximity of the linear convection to the storm and at the time this afternoon the storms were more than 400, maybe 500, miles away.
