Re: Preparations, Closings and Conditions in Your Area

It's been pretty quiet for the last couple of hours but it's starting to pick up again as we're bordering on the back wall of the storm. Winds picking up to about 20-22mph and just starting a hard rain. I'm in between Chiefland and Cedar Key and have seen some local flooding of a few area streets and the main county road that runs between these two areas have rain standing in the ditches about to overflow onto the road. We live on 40 acres with a small pond that has tributary flow from the Suwannee and the water has risen significantly so far today and expect quite a bit more tomorrow.
