Re: Milton Conditions in your area

1:50 pm in Daytona Beach Shores: 79F, cloudy intermittent moderate to heavy rain (with thunder), wind ENE 25 mph gusting to 35 mph.

Radar indicated (as well as visually confirmed) multiple tornados racing north up the south half of the Florida peninsula embedded in scattered/ discrete cells 75-100 miles ahead (NE/E) of accelerating Milton's center of circulation. Based on this trend, expecting the most impactful weather in east central Florida will arrive later in the afternoon and early evening as the threat for tornados increases throughout east central Florida. This threat for tornadic wind will occur in bands of heavy rain accompanied by increasing ENE/NE winds of 50-60 mph potentially gusting to near hurricane force in the evening after Milton landfalls on Florida's west coast.
