Invest 97L

Weak mid-level circulation near 17N 86W at 31/00Z moving to the northwest. Sporadic convection with fair outflow to the east. Some potential for slow development.

any chance of anything happening with that cloud mass down near the Yucatan?? Come on.. like BOO wake up or something.. there is still something to talk about or have you given up all hope of anything developing again?

Re: hey Ed

Navy has dropped the Invest, but NHC still mentions a chance for slow development when the system moves into the BOC in the next day or two. I still give this system about a 30 percent chance for eventual development in the southern Gulf.
Cheers,
ED
