Good point Floridacane.... been there done that... sheet of plywood makes a nice sail in storm force winds...

Loiscane, I never said the northern GC had a lock on this thing, obviously it depends on the predicted forecast... and until it starts moving north its all irrevelant...

if you have been reading my post everything hinges on PROJECTED nhc forecasts... and they can be wrong... what I've said is from TX/LA line to Pen... right now I favor something west of NO... but I'm guessing like everyone else... My original forecast 4 days ago was Pensacola....

but I never saw any east component with this system tonight nor did the nhc ever acknowledge such a movement... if there was one it was insignificant at best
