Even so, the NHC doesn't seem to have written it off just yet - check out the Tropical Weather Outlook:- AN AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA AND SOUTHEASTERN GULF OF MEXICO IS ASSOCIATED PRIMARILY WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW. ALTHOUGH THIS SYSTEM IS NOT WELL ORGANIZED...THERE IS A SLIGHT POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES NORTHWARD INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO. The past couple of days have all been saying that tropical cyclone formation in not expected. Now, however they appear to think that it may have a little potential. We'll have to watch this one closely over the next few days. |
