Re: Charley is heading awfully westerly to me

Need to correct myself here for the record. That SW eye 'o Charley is false. Taske a good look at the Dvorak loop. The circulation center is north of that, as you can see the convection wrapping around the center. It's trying to wrap tight and gives the appearance of an eye, when its actually to the SW of the center. Its still heading wnw and will begin its turn to the NW tomorrow. Its on track. Unfortunately, Radvak may be right. It has had no interaction with land, and when the trough begins to affect it, it have more time over the hot GOM.
