I enjoy your arguement, and I certainly agree with your comments about Lisa/93L. As for Ivan, I know that local mets have been talking about "the remnants of Ivan" circling back down to Florida for several days now. Maybe the NHC didn't want to muddy the waters for the less hurricane-savvy members of the viewing public.
