About the only opportunity left for any development would be a stationary low pressure in the middle of the atlantic (See Olga from 2001) That develops into a relatively cool, warm core system. It's rare, but it can happen, even into December (Lily 1985) And the odds of that are... low. But just food to think about. (as another note, systems like that tend to track southwest.
