Flamommy, we are not expecting hurricane conditions or anything of the sort over mainland florida (the panhandle is a another story

). This weekend *as of now* you can expect lots of rain, gusty winds around tropical storm strength, and perhapes some severe weather (tornadoes, etc) associated with the outer rain bands. But you really need to keep updating with us... as a powerfull tropical cyclone such as this so close to the peninsula bears the utmost attention. Again, if you are told to evacuate, do so... but I am not expecting that you will need to this time. Time will ultimately tell.
