AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION...UPDATED NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN JUAN PR 1157 PM AST FRI JUL 29 2005 .UPDATE...THE TROPICAL WAVE APPEARS TO HAVE CROSSED THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS IN THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS. VIGOROUS PRECIPITATION NOW CONTINUES IN BANDS OF A V FORM ON BOTH SIDES OF THE WAVE OVER THE CARIBBEAN. PRECIPITABLE WATER HAS INCREASED TO 2.38 INCHES SO THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY MOIST.
