Quote: I think the difference is in the loops that we are watching. I was watching the motion on the IR section of the storm floater. Perhaps the elongation of the convection from e-w near the center is giving the impression of a westward motion. The visible loop just lost sunlight, so I find that the "shadow" that sweeps across the image makes it more difficult to decipher. At any rate, tracking centers and motion can be a bit difficult at night. |
