There are still definitely two strong areas of vorticity involved with this wave. As seen on the CIMSS 850mb Vorticity map. The western vortex has definitely picked up steam late today, so is it to late to change my mind about what I said earlier about it dissipating?
Tonight could get very interesting with this crazy complicated wave.
