The 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season Starts Now

Today marks the first day of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane season, which has already had one short lived storm form near Bermuda, Ana.

Last year was most memorable for Hurricane Laura, which slammed into Southwestern Louisiana.

Once again we’ll be watching out in the Atlantic, and Hawaii if any storms threaten there.

The National Hurricane Center actually started their Daily tropical weather outlooks on May 15th, to match the East Pacific, even though the official start of the season is today.

The names for 2021 are the following:
Ana, Bill, Claudette, Danny, Elsa, Fred, Grace, Henri, Ida, Julian, Kate, Larry, Mindy, Nicholas, Odette, Peter, Rose, Sam, Teresa, Victor, Wanda
{{2021StormNames}}

Nothing is currently going on or being watched in the Atlantic, but long range signals indicate to watch the western Caribbean late next week. Blanca in the East Pacific is moving west away from any land.

Flhurricane is updating here, on facebook, and twitter, we typically only update when there is something to talk about.

Forecast lounge forums is where we'll discuss long range forecasts, and models, since they are typically for genera; guidence and not something to rely on. Front page info is typically official or what's being observed at the moment.
