DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1000 AM CDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Edouard
was located near latitude 31.3 North, longitude 95.0 West. The
depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 5 mph (7 km/h)
and this motion is expected to continue over the next 12 to 18
hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Gradual weakening of Edouard is expected over the next 12 to 18
hours.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
