Other Areas of Interest

Tropical wave near 8.5N 45W at 09/13Z has good convection and already shows signs of outflow in the northwest quad. System should be moving slowly west to west northwest into a shear-free area for the next few days. Although low in latitude, this system does have some potential for additional development.

Large tropical low on the African continent near 12N 2W at 09/12Z should move off the continent into the far eastern Atlantic Monday evening. This could become the next significant system in the basin - in about a week. Certainly something to keep a casual eye on.

Added: Tropical wave that came off the African continent yesterday has held together rather well and has a hint of circulation near 9.5N 20.5W at 09/18Z. Another one to watch .
Cheers
