The tropical convection well to the south of 93L is indeed embedded in the ITCZ - and under some rather hefty southeasterly shear. I can't find any feature of consequence west of the Cape Verde's. Invest 93L itself has fairly good structure but all convection is still located to the north and east. The weak circulation was located at 11.9N 45.9W at 08/13Z and the system has been moving to the northwest at a fairly brisk pace for the past 48 hours. ED |
