Critter report and things Atmospheric

This is an unusual day in reporting. I am home in the day time for one thing. I have been out and about in nature and I am discovering that the air is a springtime cool, light breeze, and totally NOT like the middle end of August. As a critter watcher, I also try to sense the atmosphere. The birds are acting normally for the day time and discussing the passing siren at this moment. This is an unusual day but good. I can not say the cool air portends imminent danger for this area because it may just be Dean borrowing the heat from Florida to torture Mexico with. Last night during the landfall of Dean my dog would not sit down. She continued pacing even though she was not hungry, not in need of a bathroom break or anything in particular that I could see but she continued to scratch, and move around nervously. She is ordinarily a dog who lies down and sleeps near to whereever I am, unless she is in need of her creature comforts. So, we will see if anything else is going to occur. Everything today is very peaceful. I love it!!!!

I was referring to this morning not this afternoon. Its this way in the winter here with cool air in the morning and suffocating heat in the afternoon.

Hi!! I'm "NEW" here and found your post. So, your dog likes to "forecast" the weather? I USED to have a beagle that could do that. Unfortunately, she's no longer alive but I now have TWO cats that do just fine on that score. BTW, I found this site from the "caller.com." Do you know anyone else from Corpus Christi, TX? Thanks.
