Is there a location where I can find hurricane tracking maps which show a composite of the tracks of all the hurricanes for the last 10 years or a yearly composite for each year (for the Atlantic and Gulf region)? |

http://www.solar.ifa.hawaii.edu/Tropical/tropical.html is the best source I've found for yearly track maps. Scroll down "GIF Storm Track Maps (~20kB)" and click the region you want. They have them going back about 10 years. |

You can find all storms from 1851 forward here: Several sort options, zoom levels provided. |

You don't have the current year, Skeeto I have to say Skeetobite's site has some of the best maps I've seen overall...but it is limited to Atlantic/Gulf of Mexico systems. Hawaii has all basins worldwide--and that's why I recommended it. Also, don't miss NOAA's Historical Hurricane Tracks service: http://hurricane.csc.noaa.gov/hurricanes/viewer.html It is searchable by zip code, for instance. |

Quote: Current year maps can be found on the home page of our site (lower right) and are combined with the associated NHC discussion. We will be going backwards and creating all of the missing maps very soon. Once we perfect our system we will be expanding to all basins. It's just easier to audit, test and tweak when we focus on a slow basin like the 2005 Atlantic... ;-) |
