Tropical wave with a weak low-level circulation near 12.4N 51.2W at 30/13Z, or about 600 miles east of the Windward Islands, moving west northwest to northwest at 20mph. System is moving toward an area of decreasing wind shear. The structure of the wave has improved considerably over the past 24 hours and convection is now observed east and north of the center. The tropical wave is still disorganized and may be trying to form a mid-level center north of the low-level center, however, there is a good chance for additional slow development and tropical cyclone formation over the next couple of days. This is certainly a system to keep an eye on.
Cheers,
ED
