New to the forum, thanks for having me aboard. I track storms a lot, have been for quite some time. going digital now, im using eye of the storm and storm predator. i found storm predator is really just a good radar that doesnt offer much in the way of wind speeds details and warnings. what would anyone suggest? i see a lot of postings of people with their personal radar software and it looks preety advanced. and i caugh this on this website and would like something like such. any help would be appreciated. -evan |

I use Eye of the Storm for tracking/archiving, the NHC web site and its related links to sat. pictures/loops, local and other NWS radar pics and loops. I read NHC's Tropical Weather Discussions and the Forecast Discussions for active storms and, of course, this site. Basically, I pull info from as many sources that I can access. |

GeosSat is better and stable but no longer available to the public... http://www.nexrad3.com/ Radar and tropical tracking software with modeling included. http://www.interwarn.com/ Radar and EMWIN software. Interwarn is really good. |
