Watching the gyre for potential pre-season TC

For several days the has been playing around with a depression spinning up in the Caribbean south of Cuba the last 10 days in May, possibly becoming Andrea. If this pans out, will the western extension of the Atlantic high strengthen again to nudge anything that develops into the GOMEX?
