Tuesday Evening Update

Ketsana has increased in intensity to 125 knots and is drifting to the north. The slower forward speed now places the Typhoon near Iwo Jima at 09Z on the 25th.

Typhoon Ketsana in the Western Pacific is forecast to pass near Iwo Jima at 25/00Z. Here is a link to the Iwo Jima weather observations:
