Cape Verde disturbance
      #44823 - Sat Jul 23 2005 03:53 AM

I posted this yesterday, but it musta gotten lost in the site barf overnight. Oh well.

Anyway, I'm calling dibs on the central Atlantic disturbance, the one in the midst of the Saharan dust layer. Convection is firing on the south side of the area, outside of the dust, while the dust to the north should help to tighten the circulation by suppressing outer bands from developing and stealing it's thunder. Now that the convection is going, it could pull a track and intensity path like Emily. Landfall? Not even going to bother a guess, if it even does happen.

Might be too early to call for this like someone suggested last night, but it's my "out on a limb" call.
