When was the last Hurricane Brian and when will the next hurricane named Brian come about?

They don't reuse names on hurricanes.

They do recycle names depending on the amout of damage caused. If the damage is enough then that name is retired. See the link posted above...same as below.

Okay, I know this is a very uneducated question, but...How much do the SST's differ from the actual water temps? I am just curious because it has been a warm winter for us in FL and the water temps in the Keys are still in the 80's in the middle of winter??? Thanks in advance

SSTs are the actual water temps at the surface. Also, I checked a couple websites for current SST and thier anomilies (Product Systems Branch and NOAA) and they both show SSTs from 75-78F with anomilies of about +2-3F for the keys area.. So yeah, it has been warm down here.
