If you are in the CONE, you should be ready for a storm. Last year our area was on the edge of the cone for most of the track of Rita, and
she hit on the T/LA border. We received enormous wind damage. The NHC even considered a few years ago doing away with the black
line and put it to a vote. The vote was to keep it. Even though the black line is the best estimate of the track at the time of the
forecast people should look at the "cone of possibilities". If you are in the cone, be PREPARED.
