May Gulf System Conditions/Observations in your Area

This is for local notes/anecdotes about the rainfall and other elements from the system in the Gulf.

It's raining in Orlando by Universal, and a lot more likely on the way.

Almost an inch and a half since yesterday, and that is really good for us in Gulfport as we are typically in the "cone of invisibility" when rain comes as it is like Moses parts the clouds and we end up dry.

I spent part of the day with a client in Clearwater Beach and there was a few periods of good solid rain there. Check out the Clearwater Beach Live Web Cam and our Davis Pro Clearwater Baech Weather Station on Surfside Condos

Hi everyone! Little rain here in St. Cloud .. my son says we have had a Bermuda high over our house for the last 6 months. haha He's now a hydrologist intern of sorts for the National Science Foundation and has an elaborate rain gauge system in the backyard.. lots of fun to watch.

Yesterday (the 16th) we had just 0.23 in. here.. 0.95 the 15th, and just 0.39 in. on the 14th. I suspect tomorrow's reading will be in the .60 range. Everyone else around us is getting hammered with rain. We'll see what the total is by Sunday.

The good news in Vero Beach, we are no longer in any type of drought stress. The bad news, the mosquito activity has ramped up dramatically We no longer remember what the sun looks or feels like.
