I remember it too. Luis produced such a clean and Big swell that we actually closed off the end of the Cocoa Beach Pier. That usually only happened during something like Floyd or Erin. I remember being stuck at work and just looking at thse waves rolling in

Ahh we had so much surf that summer. It was a good year for tracking and even better becuse of the limited landfalls

can you imagine this site if we had a 95 like season again?!
the hit counter for it would fry!

Looks good tonight... now if that darn thing will only develop. Just took a quick glance at the 12 UTC GFS run. If that holds true looks like we are going to be very wet in Florida for a while. Anyone have a boat for sale?

Hey Y'all......... what's up with these model maps at http://www.wrel.com/modelmap.htm ??? Do they really think this is going to zig zag like that or is this just an error ? Looks like I don't need to worry about Mobile any time soon !!

I don't know what is up with Scott/WREL. They may still have some line problems because he is on top of the runs. The only storm ID model run out is for 92L. I expect that to change soon... I can see having up to 3 windows open on ST6 shortly Let me add that what he was showing were the Global runs picking up something in that area for info only.

Beats the heck out of me. Looks like someone got into Franks crown and had a little party! This would make a great abstract for my computer room!

Toni

No boat here but if it keeps rainning like it has in central Florida then we may float to St. Pete (lol)

afraid to say much as it will go away.

Looking at the African coast .. smileing. big grin

Yeah, I'm starting to get a wee bit worried, with the daily rains that we have been having and then the possibility of a wave/whatever comming across the state. We really have had our share of rain this season.

going to be an interesting weekend and maybe a long next week as well.

still seems to be holding it's own ... the low off Africa does seem to have a nice low now... Long way to go.. will be fun to watch and track.

Think maybe this might be a rain maker for sure. Here in Central Florida we have had over 10 inches this month. Hard to belive the lakes and ponds are high again (we had needed rain for so long)

calling it a night... will watch again in the am

nite all

I didn't either at first (I'm also on a dialup) but I went off to do something else and a while later I came back and it was animated...

I think TD 10 will be the wave off the coast of Africa. Looks very good still
