does anyone know where a battery powered t.v. can be bought that is digital? i've found one online so far and it was $249 which seems like highway robbery.

This is an excellent question (moved it to this Forum where it might get more attention) that I'm sure a lot of folks might have pondered over. If you have a current portable analog TV, it will still work for this season, but if you don't it would seem to make economical sense to seek a digital model. I'm curious myself as to what might be available at this time.

Just thought I'd do my part as most of the links on this page are either broken or don't lead to where they once may have. We purchased both our of televisions from a company called 12Volt-Travel back in 2008. The company still exists and both TV's still work today in 2017. You too can find a great selection of 12 Volt TV's here . They seem to have a couple of small units that have a built in rechargeable battery which is great for emergency situations, but there are ton of larger TV's that are powered directly by 12v dc from the battery. Good pricing and as I recall > great people and great service.
