A Hermine band came through here just after 4:00 am and woke me up. A gust of 58 mph was recorded at Gulfport's Clam Bayou at 4:13 am. That has been the strongest of the storm so far.
The Sunshine Skyway had a gust of 68 mph at 4:45 am, also the strongest of the storm yet for that location.
The night was fairly quiet though, winds in the 20's and little rain until this band came through.
I do see lightning in the distance, and more bands will roll through for a while.

Yes it was loud and woke me up also. Heavy rain, windy and lightening. Just as it was getting calm and settling back to sleep, another band comes through. Again, heavy rain, wind, loud thunder and a lightening show. I'm glad Pasco Co schools are closed. No one needs to be out in this.

We had a band come through with a lot of thunder and lightning earlier; it rained most of the night and now seems to be tapering off.

Heavy rain and some wind overnight but nothing like the band around 8pm. Dozens of reports of trees and power poles down, mobile homes destroyed and at least one huge roof ripped of an old business in downtown Plant City. 2.5in over night brings it to about 7.5 inches total for my area.
