A few areas of interest today... the area of disturbed weather over the Bahamas, the east Carib Wave, and the Texas system. The best looking and most organised of all 3 features is the system inland over extreme southeastern Texas. Excellent rotation, banding structures, and decent convection. In fact, convective activity has really flared up in the past 2 hours as the sea breeze convergence helps generate an area of storms to the south of the apparent circulation. however, visible imagery shows the circulation drifitng slowly west, so little likelihood of anything developing. Both the east Carib Wave and the Bahamas disturbed area dont look impressive at all at the moment, but models do hint at some possible development later in the week, so these general areas should bear watching.

Regards
