SATELLITE IMAGES AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATE THAT CHRIS IS BECOMING A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE DEVOID OF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. THE LOW WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO MOVE WESTWARD UNTIL DISSIPATING LATER TODAY. GLOBAL MODELS WERE CORRECT INDEED IN FORECASTING DISSIPATION OF THE CYCLONE OVER CUBA.
