DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 AM GMT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Wanda was located near latitude 40.6 North, longitude 39.6 West. Wanda is moving toward the north near 9 mph (15 km/h). A slower northward motion is expected through this morning. A slow eastern motion is forecast by Thursday night, followed by a faster south-southeastward motion by Friday. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is possible during the next day or two. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) from the center.
