DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Margot was located near latitude 21.0 North, longitude 38.7 West. Margot is moving toward the northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue during the next day or so. A north-northwestward to northward motion is forecast to begin by late Sunday. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual strengthening is forecast over the next several days, and Margot is forecast to become a hurricane next week. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
