DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM GMT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Margot was located near latitude 26.1 North, longitude 40.0 West. Margot is moving toward the north near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue during the next several days. Satellite estimates indicate that the maximum sustained winds of Margot have increased to near 70 mph (110 km/h) with higher gusts. Margot is forecast to become a hurricane late today and could strengthen further over the next few days. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 993 mb (29.33 inches).
