DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Fifteen was located near latitude 20.8 North, longitude 47.1 West. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 16 mph (26 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue for the next several days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the system could become a hurricane by early next week. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
