AT 4 AM CDT...0900Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM MATTHEW WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 25.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 92.9 WEST OR ABOUT
335 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE MOUTH OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.

MATTHEW IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST NEAR 9 MPH AND THIS MOTION
IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TODAY.

SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS A VERY POORLY ORGANIZED STORM AND MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS ARE ESTIMATED TO HAVE DECREASED TO NEAR 40 MPH
WITH HIGHER GUSTS. ADDITIONAL WEAKENING IS EXPECTED TODAY.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 115 MILES MAINLY TO
THE EAST OF THE CENTER.

THE ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1002 MB...29.59 INCHES.
