At 500 PM EDT (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone
Chantal was located near latitude 38.8 North, longitude 75.0 West.
The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the northeast near 21 mph
(33 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue with an increase
in forward speed tonght

Maximum sustained winds are near 25 mph (35 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is forecast tonight.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1012 mb (29.89 inches).

RAINFALL: Post-Tropical Cyclone Chantal will continue to produce
heavy rainfall across portions of the Delmarva, New Jersey, and
Pennsylvania into this evening. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3
inches, with local amounts to 5 inches, is expected. Isolated to
scattered flash flooding is possible.
